Reiki Healing Therapy

Reiki is a Japanese Healing and Spiritual Modality that translates to Soul or Life-force Energy. It gently soothes the nervous system, bringing peace and balance to the whole system. It works by flowing through the practitioner's hands to your body, which can be received either with hands on or above energy centres in the body. The effects are unique to you, with Reiki knowing exactly what is needed for each individual, whether it be physical, mental, emotional, energetic or spiritual. Reiki has no contradictions and is a modality that is accessible for everyone. You can be seated or lay down on a massage table and will remain fully clothed. Each session includes starting with a consultation, a guided relaxation and grounding practice, receiving reiki and gently being guided back with a grounding practice. Then you’ll have space to share about your experience and receive integration support

Hannah is our in-house Reiki Master who has been practicing Reiki for the past 7 years. Her first time receiving Reiki was in an Ayurvedic spa, which changed the course of her life. Having had an experience of connecting to a bright presence within, she was free from thoughts and felt ecstatically, joyfully alive. She was curious as to how she could experience this all the time! That led to her undergoing her first level of training which continued to Master/Teacher level a few years later.  Around the same time, yoga came into Hannah’s life and she fell in love with it. Soon discovering its sister science - Ayurveda. She delved into learning how to live an Ayurvedic lifestyle to support health on all levels of her being and to support easeful connection to her Soul and to God. She follows this lifestyle today as she feels its benefits and is focused upon the lineage of yoga as her spiritual path, with Bhakti at the heart of it.  She is grateful to come full circle with where her Reiki path started and to share Reiki at Indian Spa Cardiff. She feels that it is beautiful to receive Reiki in a space that has the intentions of Ayurveda infused into it, along with Hannah’s grounded and supportive approach. She looks forward to sharing Reiki with you to support you wherever you are on your path of self-discovery and connection.
